ABOUT ME

I was born to two touring musicians in Hawaii in 1984. I would sleep behind my dads bass cab during gigs. I was lucky enough to grow up around tons of amazing musicians aside from my parents including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Martini of Sly and the Family Stone and Prince.

I sang since I could make noise, started drums at the age of 7, guitar at 9 and started writing, recording and mixing my own music at about 10. Through my teenage years I spent my days in music magnet classes at Hamilton Performing Arts High School and then spent my nights recording friends bands as well as my own and honing my musical and production skills around the clock. After I graduated high school, I managed to get my Associates Degree in Audio by the time I was 18.

By the time I was 19 I had taken off on my first world tour with the show Cavalia as Head of Sound. Over the years I toured and played with many tours and bands including TOOL/The Acid Helps, Goldfinger, Cirque du Soleil including the top 20 arena world tours: James Cameron's Avatar show: Toruk, Alegria, Varekai, as well as Corteo which won a Pollstar Award in 2024. On these shows I did a laundry list of jobs as Head of Sound including Monitor Engineer, Front of House Engineer, PA Systems Tech as well as Musical Direction/Playback op for the Avatar show. I was Playing bass and singing on the Tool Fear Inoculum tour with The Acid Helps. With Goldfinger I guitar tech, stage manage and occasionally get to jump on stage on guitar.

Ive always bounced back and forth between touring as an engineer and working on music and recording projects outside of my tour life and as a younger buck had the pleasure of working and collaborating with the Grammy winning producer and engineer, Chris Steinmetz. Over the years my work and time with him helped shape and refine a lot of my skills in the studio as well as just life in general to which I am infinitely grateful.

After hitting Staples Center, the Forum, The Garden, Wembley and just about every major arena you can probably name on tour I have been getting back to my roots in the studio and aiming at releasing my own music projects as well as writing and producing for other artists as well as well as continuing to offer my services to various artist . ;)
